Weval just dropped the live version of “ON” via Cercle Records after debuting it at Cercle Odyssey Paris. Born from a spontaneous Portland soundcheck jam, the track weaves hopeful melancholy and playful, cinematic energy through delicate chords and airy textures. Having evolved through rediscovery, DJ-set testing, and fresh studio sessions, “ON” now features re-recorded vox, sparkling arpeggios and an extended club mix to keep the dancefloor moving.
The Dutch duo Harm Coolen and Merijn Scholte Albers (aka Weval) have been crafting progressive, melodic electronic music since their 2016 debut on Kompakt. Their latest live performance recording shows off their knack for blending intimate atmospheres with expansive soundscapes—and “ON” is streaming everywhere now.
